November 17, 2016 | |

Groundwork USA Youth Programs Report FY2016 cover Groundwork USA’s youth development programming is a one-stop approach to preparing youth for a lifetime of civic and conservation engagement. Through our youth programs, we’re investing in the future of individuals and their communities, providing platforms for young people to effect change in themselves, in the built and natural environments in which they live, and in our society as a whole.

This past year, Groundwork USA and our national network of local Trusts engaged over 12,000 youth in a variety of conservation-related programs and activities. Nearly 20% of these engagements were directly supported by the National Park Service, a testament to the importance of this partnership. The following Groundwork USA FY2016 Youth Programs Report presents an overview of our collective successes in fiscal year 2016 and a record of our commitment to continue to expand the breadth and depth of our youth programming.
