This Thanksgiving season, Groundwork USA launched our first-ever #GivingTuesday campaign to highlight all the ways #GroundworkChangemakers are working to improve and give back to local communities across the country. We want the whole world to know about the truly transformative work happening in and around Groundwork communities—and you helped us to do just that!

We’re grateful to everyone who told us what makes them #GroundworkChangemakers, liked and shared our social media posts, and donated to the Groundwork network over the past week. You shared your stories of restoring urban river habitats, preserving open space, improving food access, and conserving our public lands. On your own and with fellow volunteers and co-workers, you told us your hopes for creating clean ecosystems and places for people to feel peaceful. Thank you for the work you do every day and for helping to make our first #GivingTuesday such a success!

Groundwork USA will continue to highlight #GroundworkChangemakers throughout the upcoming year in order to honor those doing the important work of changing places, changing lives in communities around our country that need it most.
