The Impact of Cool Roofs and Home Retrofits

Cool roofs and home retrofits help prepare homes for climate challenges like extreme heat and flooding by making them cooler, more energy-efficient, and better protected. These upgrades allow residents to stay safely in their homes during extreme weather events. Groundwork affiliates are working with communities to bring these vital improvements to neighborhoods most at risk.
